With the boom in the tourism industry in the coastal city of Malaga, art galleries are flourishing and several new ones are getting established. Most of the art galleries which have become important landmarks of Malaga promotes local arts and crafts along with the global artefacts.

The Javier Román Gallery is located in the core of Malaga and in the vicinity of the Picasso Foundation Natal House and street. The gallery was established in 1999, and the showroom is about 100 sq. metres in area. It exhibits works of various artists from different origins and backgrounds. The themes on display are sculpture, paintings, digital arts and photography. Today, the gallery participates actively in trade fairs, especially those in the European cities.
The Gallery Javier Marín (JM Gallery) came into being in 2001, with the sole objective of promoting the plastic and visual artists under the directorship of Javier Marin. A trip to the famous gallery is indeed an educational experience. Various national and international fairs such as ArteSantander, Hot Art Fair, Art / Salamanca, ARCOmadrid, Basel and Art Dubai are held here regularly. The vast exhibition space which is divided into different levels and areas makes the experience even more enriching.

The Printmaking Workshop Gallery Gravura was founded in 1979, in the notable hub of Malaga. Artist Paco Aguilar, who is also a painter and engraver, fabricated a spread of graphic artwork from Gravura, and has also helped to organize exhibitions for various artists.
Many national and international artists such as José Faria, Paco Aguilar, Chema Lumbreras, Enrique Brinkmann, Oscar Perez, etc. have found a space at the gallery to showcase their talent.

The art gallery began its journey in 1987, and has presented authentic and passionate work since then. The gallery sells and evaluates paintings, sculptures, Giclees, graphic works, etc. in its space on the ‘Cortina del Muelle’ street in Malaga and another gallery in Granada. The Cartel Fine Art SL gallery encourages and develop the Andalusian contemporary artists and have more than 700 original works from various artists.
