The renaissance of Málaga, the gorgeous port city has won the status as Andalucia’s cultural capital. Are you looking for a great family hangout in an exciting recreation zone in Málaga? Then, a day trip to Muelle Uno in Málaga is a must-visit.

Muelle Uno is also known as 'Quay One' is located on the Málaga Port, and is a result of 13-years planning with a budget of 80-million-euro. Inaugurated in 2011, Muelle Uno is a massive open-waterfront recreation and leisure zone with the contemporary shopping experience and exclusive dining options set romantically by the sea. The open-air mall offers excellent views to Málaga’s monuments including the emblematic landmark La Alcazaba. You will find delightful restaurants and bars, modern shopping spots, entertainment zones for children, and marina (Ricardo Gross) for luxurious yachts.
To reach the port, rent a car in Málaga or use public transport. Both the bus station and railway station are located around 1.5 kilometres from the port. The international Málaga airport can be reached in 15 minutes from the port.
 
As you reach there, enjoy shopping in the array of shops with more than 30 outlets, selling from clothes, handmade jewellery to home furnishings. Look out for home décors at Mandrágora, stylish fashion-ware at Etxart & Panno, Sisters&Ro and Loft six. Next, head for an international gastronomical spread, stop at Café de Paris catered by Michelin starred chef Jose Carlos García. Other exciting foodie hotspots are Mikado, Amigos Grill, Il Forno Romano, Marisquería Godoy, and O Mamma Mía.
